Mexico is not paying for the wall. http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/05/polit...republicans-donald-trump-taxpayers/index.html
Strangely, we finally agree on something. Although much better isn't very good, I at least think Pence is not a national security risk.
Another brick in "the wall" so to speak, huh?. I'd like to see some concrete (NPI) plans once Trump takes office because first I heard about it merely being a starting proposal, then it got 10 feet taller, then it was going to be funded w/ taxpayers dollars and then we'd get Mexico to pay for the whole thing, soon afterward, by using trade deals (or other nonsensical ideas) as leverage to force them to pay for all of it. I've heard a payment plan over a decade or more, I've heard they might only partially pay for it, I've heard the wall is just a vague idea that symbolizes increased border security, etc. To me, a wall seems like a horrendous waste of $, no matter who pays for it. If $ is spent on improving border security through increased technological surveillance and working w/ the Mexican government to cut down corruption and effectively prosecuting the criminal elements w/in Mexico, then I'm all for it. Seems like we do that already though, and taxpayers have much more important things to pay for.
So... Lock her up? Nyet. Drain the swamp? Nyet. Mexico is going to pay for the wall? Nyet. I see you Comrade Trump.
His website literally said that Mexico would promise to pay for the wall on Day 2 of his administration. Guess Mexico is a little too tough for the Trumpster.
Trump said what he needed to say to give himself the best chance of being elected. No one should be at all surprised that his promises mean nothing to him. Which is kind of a good thing, because he promised some crazy stuff.
