Now is the time you have to go for it. He's not staying in Houston , always seen it as a stepping stone , and hasn't performed at elite levels offensively. Have to be prepared if some team gives Cole a 5 year, $180 million deal the Stros cannot match and extend your window as much as possible.

No thanks. The Astros have Correa for two more years after this season and plenty of talented prospects to trade for pitching help this season. They don’t need to do anything with Correa now, other than get him back in their lineup once he’s 100% healthy.

I would be ok trading him during the offseason. Trading him during the season would be bad for morale.

The only way Correa doesn't play is if he doesn't resign with the Astros.

I’d trade him eventually, but not now.

It wasn't Carlos Correa fault his massage therapist fractured his rib.

The Astros need his clutch hits to win games, in the regular season and the postseason.

Astros fans sure have poor memory when Carlos Correa hit huge home runs to win games in the World Series.

Correa didn’t hit any home runs to win games in the World Series.

I’d be open to trading him for the right deal, but it would have to be a massive overpay by the other team to get him during the season.

This offseason I would trade him for a legit ace with 3 years left.

Yeah, but both HRs he hit were pretty big HRs late in games we won by a run.

No but it was his fault to even get a massage therapist in the first place and I really doubt a therapist fracture his ribs in the first place. Breaking your bone on your off day is the stupidest thing ever

I would be ok with something like this in the off-season if the young pitcher(s) was the right one(s).

Feels a little surprising to say the least that I seem to be in the minority of fans that actually wants to keep Correa.

I mean, which ace would you trade him for? There’s no one out there who’s particularly appealing. Outside of Berrios or Snell (who’s having a down year), what young arm would you trade him for? Correa was *mashing* and was back to being an MVP candidate before his injury.

I get the whole “I don’t want to lose him for nothing” argument, but we’re going to be in the same position for whoever we acquire.

Not sure where you were but yes, he did hit HR to help win World Series games
