18 games in 30 days with 14 plane flights involved. I've been patient with the poor play because fatigue very well could be playing a role, but that isn't the case for the rest of this month. If aren't playing much better basketball over the next 8 games, then we have major issues. We shall see, was it fatigue, or is this team simply not all that good.
So are we thinking that anyone should be held out of the final 2-4 games before the break? We'd be talking about 2 to 3 weeks of rest.
They have been playing like many people thought they would. They won tonight, but we need to see more defense like they showed at the end of the 4th quarter. When shots aren't falling, they have to rely on defense which has struggled lately. I'm sure fatigue is a big reason why they haven't looked as great lately, but I do think Morey should make a trade for a rim protector or backup wing. They should be fine moving forward. We will see.
