This is one time I wish I didn't miss a Players Only game broadcast but with the game on TNT, it was blacked out in Houston for AT&T Sportsnet.
Apparently Nate Robinson was in rare form tonight.

Cannot wait to watch the TNT replay. I thought he was bad he first time, but some thought he was good.

    LMAO @ 3-time Dunk Champion.

I will say this for Nate Robinson, he is polarizing on Basketball twitter much like Bill Walton. Half hate his commentary while the rest find it hilarious.
At least that's better than Reggie Miller who is so annoying that he unites fans in their dislike for his commentary on TNT (and now during the NCAA tournament).

It was hilarious listening to this idiot stutter through the product placement. Not so hilarious listening to him suck the **** of "Dame" all night long.

He’s terrible but honestly I will keep on tuning in just to hear him say stupid things and botch ad reads. It’s hilarious.

Also, lmao @ Fisher breaking down a simple play for 5 minutes & then getting cutting off when the quarter ends.

It's so hard trying to watch the game with his commentary.

He was low key rooting for the Blazers tonight because he grew up in Northwest area near Seattle and played college ball there. Didn't really bug me though.

I legitimately feel sorry for the guy. How did they let him get on camera? Did he kill the audition? I would probably crumble under the camera pressure too, and I am not stage shy (as a musician.) I am sure he is not as dumb/inept as he sounds.

I think it's cool to see a guy who can play in front of thousands of people get anxious putting a mic on and commentating with 2 dudes. Nate didn't look like he enjoyed that at all

I liked it personally. It was funny and interesting. I prefer guys just talking like fans and enjoying the game. Nothing is more mind numbingly dull that having someone talk 30 year old xs and os that are irrelevant to today's game like Hubie Brown and even Derek Fisher last night. I don't need to be told how basketball works, I'd much rather have a guy having fun, saying whatever. I think it was somewhat awkward because it was different. He wasn't just taking turning with the other guys on tired points, just speaking when he wanted

It's all pretty bad, at least they should have some auditions before hiring some of these guys and that goes even for the standard color commentators. 90% of these guys are pretty bad, but I prefer this over Reggie Miller, Marv Albert and some others any day of the week.

Your constant hate for Bill Worrell is unwarranted. It's elder abuse and it must stop.
