Time to stop overrating our scrubs because of their apparent "hustle" facade

Tucker, Faried, couldn't get a rebound to save their lives. Their "defense" and "hustle" are just overrated. Know why they are hustling so much all the time? Because they have no talent. Can't contribute. Tucker got destroyed senselessly by LeBron while he was in Toronto and that was his only job. Faried puts up spoon-fed Harden-bestowed-on-a-platter but his appalling egregiously bad defense is all but cancelling out whatever baskets his provides on the other end.

Gerald Green I've been calling for his ass for a long time now. I'd rather have Melo than this dude because that's how much sucks this scrub is. Shamelessly hits a 3 every once in a blue moon and it seems like he's somehow a key piece of the team. Fools fans into his "effort" and "passion" due to his Houston dreadlocks (fake as hell) and this "mean" and faux "emotional" "outpouring of energy" demeanour to hide how little he really contributes and how much of a scrub he is. I mean why in the entire world are we running pseudo-playoff games last second plays through this non-NBA caliber scrub? He hit a lucky ass meaningless 3 against the worst team in the league last year and now it seems he's our Kobe to win games and he's our one-and-only Ulysses Grant to lead us to the promised land

Austin Rivers is just on another level of scrubiness but at least he's a cheap backup who knows his limits and no one bothers to talk about him.

Harden needs to go for 50 every night just to win games because all those other scrubs apart from Faried are literally net negatives so Harden has to cover up for their egregiously bad levels of suckery. Time to infuse some legit talent into the team rather than relying on a bunch of fake-macho muscle-clenching bottom tier clowns tainting Harden's greatest offensive season ever.

we haven't made a new player signing more than the vet minimum since july 1st and are still sitting on most of our MLE which will likely expire worthless. this roster is a classic case of garbage in garbage out so we shouldn't really expect much more from the ragtag collection of scrubs the front office has surrounded wilt harden with

Last time i checked our players tonight were:

Harden, Paul, Gordon, Faried, Tucker, Rivers, Green, Shumpert

...guess what, that's more talent than:

George, Westbrook, Adams, Ferguson, Grant, Noel, Patterson, fatboy

So...yeah, that's not the reason why we lost this game.

This game is on MDA. He does not know how/when to call time out.

Except we've been too reluctant to trade them thinking they have massive trade value and overvaluing their worth - e.g. Butler for Tucker/Gordon.

They may be on low salaries but then we must know when to cut bait and reduce their role on the team. There are definitely talented players out there that can be had but we are relying on the current supporting cast way too much and not looking to change things up.

How do you know Butker was available for EG and Tucker? This is just speculation on your part.

I understand the frustration but the Roc were up by like 20 pts, if the talent sucked how come they got up by 20 pts in the first place?

Talent wasnt the problem, lacking a gameplan other than ISOs by Harden and Cp3 are the problem.

Tucker playing 35 min and scoring 0 points is a problem...that’s playing 5 vs 4 on offense

Ok no “hustle” argument. What about “chemistry”? How many games did this new squad play together?

Calm down guys. They will be fine

Hey, big brains, we had a problem getting rebounds.
Capela is out. Do you see any relation.
Yeah scrappiness from smaller guys can't always make up for height.

The reason we can only afford vet min level player:

    A. CP3 ridiculous contract
    B. We have a cheap ass owner
    C. Morey's preference for "flexibility" over real talent
    D. All of the above

Was reported by media outlets for quite a while. The level of reporting for this deal was on par with the 4 first round picks one.

I know Harden has been setting records and all, but should we really start calling him Wilt Harden?

    That’s bold.

Highly doubt Minny would be ok getting just Tucker and EG for Butler let's be real.

Tucker is just tired man. He has always been a player with almost no lift and we are giving him a career-high 35 minutes at age 33. He was never a great rebounder, he just works hard for them and boxes out very well for his teammates to get to an adequate level. He understands his limitations. His fatigue is also obviously going to affect his 3pt shot, you can see it clearly in the fact that his FT% is 2nd worst of his career (worst being his rookie season).

His value is greater than his stats though, and his defensive leadership is critical. He is a capable starting 4 and a glue guy like no other. Getting Kief will certainly help Tucker's play, and getting Capela back will push Faried to the bench, which in turn helps our rebounding over the 48 minutes. Tucker just had a tough night.

All they got from Philly was Bayless, Covington, and Šarić plus a 2nd round pick. So maybe we add another pick to it but its not far fetched
