Link please. Articles I've seen say Carson said a prayer and then Pence made a speech in which he thanks Trump for all his 'accomplishments.' Saying thanks can sound like a prayer I guess, but it seems like a stretch.
It's a stretch to say it's a prayer. More of a litany of some accomplishments. It's sad to me that Trump has such a need for praise, thanks and acknowledgement that these scripted things exist. The need to get this homage on record is nothing but playing to his massive ego.
