It would appear that her job was to be an escort, at least the article suggests that. You have to wonder if it's possible to sexually harass a prostitute.

So many of these recent harassment allegations are occurring in industries where a person's main qualification is appearance. That's the case here as it is often in politics and commonly is in acting. "Victims" don't complain when the system benefits them. Corey Feldman didn't complain as a teenager when he got paid despite his lack of talent.

Flaming makes up 90% of the board. Will there be any without straw man arguments?

My comment is similar to those made recently by Angela Lansbury and Donna Karen, though DK's version was pretty repulsive. It's not victim-blaming. People must understand that there is a game that is played and no one complains when they win, only when they lose. It doesn't excuse bad behavior, but the problem is more complex than people want to admit and it's easier to blame a few bad actors. Our society rewards, even celebrates, good looking people and there is a sense of entitlement there. Not saying this is true for all harassment cases, but for some including this one and many in the news. In the Moon case it's not clear who the bad person is and people should not pass judgement on insufficient evidence.

Here's an example...there's a saying "dress for the job you want". This is offered as good career advice and there are plenty of articles to be found justifying it, but this is actually a huge, underlying problem. We only talk positively about it when we stand to gain. If you accept being rewarded professionally for anything other than merit then you are part of the problem. All people should be treated properly all the time, but if that were the case this "victim" in Moon's case would not have been employed in the first place.

Confirmed - we have a victim shamer on our hands, folks. Last sentence is revealing...

Revealing of what? I guess the less argument you make, the safer you feel.

Early 90s, Moon was arrested and acquitted for domestic battery if I remember correctly. My uncle used to work in construction and worked in Moon's house in Lake Olympia if I remember correctly. My uncle said Moon and his wife were crazy and he dealt with, knew them at least from construction work so I tend to believe him.

Anyone I've known who has met Warren Moon for more than just an autograph, myself included, came away with the opinion that he was pretty much a dick. Good quarterback though!

Warren Moon's treatment of women has been an open secret for a couple of decades. This should surprise no one, and no one should write it off as "well, it's he said-she said".

Take this to the Titans forums. They want their history, they should also get the baggage.

What does it mean that "no one should write it off"? No one is required to pass judgement except the judge. None of us know the facts and, frankly, both parties should have their privacy respected.

Sure, Moon has credibility issues but so does the accuser. What's clear, from the accuser's own words, it that there was an explicit expectation that her job was to please Moon, including aspects that some would consider pornographic, and yet she didn't quit when told this. She was a paid escort for 7 years, that's not really in question. Her job qualifications look nothing like those of a personal assistant nor is there any reason to believe that Moon needed one or expected it from her. Her background is in modeling, soft core p*rn, and physical therapy. Come on.

Until there is additional evidence, it's also literally a "he said-she said" situation and Moon's reputation doesn't change that. Both have reputation issues, not just Moon. Sometimes it really is just an ugly situation between ugly people. I would suspect the case doesn't go to court either. It's just a cash grab by unprincipled people. No better time that now for a prostitute to claim sexual harassment and look for a settlement.

Wow she is smoking. She is a very impressive woman with a doctorate. Moon should have known better than to even attempt this.

Perhaps that's what caused your inability to read 3 whole paragraphs.

Moon was among the greatest ever and his character issues don't change that. Moon may be a piece of ****, as you say, but she likely is as well. Maybe you should be less invested in sports.

I'll limit it to that in hopes that you can read it without having to take your meds.
