and that's why the Astros laid Beltran's glove to rest.

Haha the Rangers are terrible. And besides Darvish nothing of value to trade. And a terrible farm system.

I need them to win a few in a row and make a McLane-esque, farm-draining move for some slightly above-average piece.

On the surface, being 4.5 GB of the wildcard doesn't seem insurmountable. But they have five teams to pass as well. How they play over the next ten days should tell the story. It must be hard to explain to their fans how they won the division last year and wont compete in this one. Pretty sure they dont buy that they were just lucky last year. But they might buy that they have been unlucky this year and just need a little help to revert to their former glory  After all, they have key pieces like Gomez  and Odor  that surely will take them to the promised land.

Man, watching the Rays center fielder botch a simple fly ball by a Ranger in the game yesterday kind of pissed me off. It allowed for two runs to score and then another score on a wild pitch for them to take the lead and win. Rangers had no business winning that game.

How often do you see someone botch a simple fly out like that? F-ing pee wee league bs there. RANGERS SHOULD HAVE LOST! LOST! LOST!!!!!

    Astros, Rockets, and Cowboys fan.

Edit: I live in DFW, so I hear more about the Mavs and Rangers than I care to.

Why make your avatar about Dallas though?

This is a Houston sports forum... make your avatar Astros or Rockets... a giant Dallas sports logo feels like a big f u.

Eh...didnt we get avatars during last football season? I think it was just a way to stand out some, plus revel in the season we were having. I also *hate* the Texans...****ing 19-10.

Hey man you're free to do what you want but it feels a little dirty to me on a Houston sports forum.

I honestly thought about changing it to an Astros avatar this spring but never got around to it. And football season is just around the corner now...

    F*** the Cowgirls.

You can rep who you want, though.

Cowboys suck. But you can rock whatever avatar you please, as long as you don't mind the good-natured ribbing.

For those of you taking this seriously, a little perspective. We're chatting anonymously about games. The only thing to take seriously is how much we can laugh.
