Sorry. JR. Looked for one. Didn't see it. Fell off the first page I guess. I need to get back to looking two pages back now that season started. Was catching up with Feigen's tweets and even thought to myself. Why no interest in this at cfnet, since so many ppl are looking for Tilman to do something about seats. I know charity ideas are boring and gain little traction, but the seat thing. Feigen wasn't even getting many comments.

I was disappoint. Should've looked harder for a thread posted already, though.

    Mods please lock.

Nah man. you really think im taking a shot at millennials there? What do you have against millennials for you to think that?

I thought I was encouraging Rockets to tweet out the names each game to remind us. See 2nd post

One issue I can see is that the schmucky, lower-bowl types will be less interested in meeting random B-list celebrities than upper-bowl types will, and they're the problem with late arrivals.

Also, will this increase the urbanization of the Toyota Center experience?

I've had this idea that the first pitch at a baseball game should count for an actual strike or ball.
y'all thought I was crazy in 2008 when I suggested "the great eurostep forward" in which anyone wearing a jersey other than a rockets one should be given a rockets t shirt to wear or be turned away from the arena. Now some leagues are incorporating some aspects of that to prevent enemy intrusion.

Funny you mention this. I actually thought something like this might be more motivating than a minor celebrity people may or may not be interested in.

This I like. Something in it personally for the fan in attendance rather than just the opportunity to watch some celebrity shoot a basketball.

No, and no. How do you think Keuchel or Verlander would feel about having their first AB influenced by some rando. And turning away fans who won't wear home team apparell? It's a $$$ league man, would never fly with owners.

P.S. Need another poll option that says, "I will be in my seat on time anyway, I don't need any gimmicks.

P.P.S. I really like the celebrity/team signed ball given to random seat # and shaming if they aren't there. That could actually make a small dent in the problem.

    I've got it!

All the tickets are $20 and seating is first come first serve. People would be camping out around ToyCen, imagine the publicity!

    Get r done Tilly.

Imagine if they had Southwest Airlines style seating:eek:

People would get to the game early AF

    Edit:

    Beat me to it:(

Maybe they should do that you pay for your section and then that section is Southwest style.

Cool idea but he would be better off putting in slot machines and hiring strippers at the Toyota Center. That place would be packed day to night...

Love the Idea!! Regardless of what you think about it, a charity will receive a small donation from EACH game! I just wish he would up the donation a little, 1k seems a bit meager to me given that he's worth billions!! It's his money though....

I would definitely encourage Pillman Forgeta to get a trademark on the phrase "First Shot"! I can already see Mary Cuban jumping all over this idea and trying to use this phrase in his promotion...

Think about that. Hopkins on the Rockets court wearing an Astros jersey. Perfect. Maybe he was key to that great Saturday night Houston sports had?
