The contract was the right decision. This thread is dumb.

Nah, nothing in my post was wrong then. I willingly admit when I'm wrong, but nothing in that post was wrong at the time and I even completely understand why Clint and CP3 would not want to take a paycut as I explained in that post.

No. A certain 4 year 80 million dollar deal ruined that team by clogging up cap space

    I know you disagree.
    4-yrs 160 million = 10% of Championship Chance
    4-yrs 60 million = 90% of Championship Chance

One of posters suggested to pay Paul 4-yrs 60 million.

If I were Paul and I really want to win it all, I'd take 60.

As everyone knows, Tilman wants profit.

A whole lot of people failing to grasp the notion that there was no doubt a discussion behind closed doors before this trade went down that Paul was going to be offered the max.

As if there was any choice in the matter from the Rockets side.

paying Paul 4/60 is so laughably unrealistic it’s not even worth talking about

u just pulled that 10% and 90% right out your ass

“if Paul really wanted to win it all, he should take 100 mil less”...Lmao, in what world?
