I’d bet the under because the schedule looks brutal. But 9 wins wouldn’t shock me. 2 wins wouldn’t either. Basically anything between 2 and 9 would make me say, yeah that’s about right.
He better not be the coach again next season. I don’t get how he keeps his job. He’s gotta have some nude photos of someone. I mean he’s gotten to the playoffs and we have literally been humiliated each year. Name me one quality win he has? We get all our wins against garbage teams. Never win a game we are underdogs. Since this year we have no garbage teams on our schedule it’s gonna be brutal.
We gonna lose by 30 again? Look at Raptors, lost every year in sweep to Cleveland knew they needed personnel and coaching changes. Took a huge risk won it all. We can’t just keep doing same crap every playoffs and expect different results.

That’s optimistic considering we always beat up on inferior teams. Look at our wins last year. We lost to all the good teams and went on a fluke winning streak against the worst teams in the league. This year we don’t have that luxury or playing the bad teams. Until we actually win a game against a good qb I won’t believe it. Luck twice, Foles threw for 500 yards on us last year and we got him twice. Cam, Brady, Mahomes, Big Ben, Ryan, Rivers, Brees 5 maybe wins against Mariota twice, Winston, Flacco, Lamar Jackson. We don’t get the Gabberts, Bortles, and other cupcakes anymore.
I have a more optimistic view which leads to some pessimism. Yea, we beat up on some not great teams last year, but with the bad oline and cornerback play we still went 11-5. Deshaun and Nuk are still here which alone is worth 6-7 wins. I think they win 10-12 games, the team is better than some of the overly pessimistic(ie most of you) fans think. The front 7 is solid, a healthy wr core can be at worst top 10. The problem will be that the playoffs will expose BoB, and due to making the playoffs we will retain him and be stuck in this position. Here’s to hoping we don’t Marvin Lewis him.
I’ve had season tickets for the last 10 years and I am at a loss for what we are doing. Smart teams spend money when they their franchise QBs are on rookie contract.. see the Rams last year. Somehow the Texans did absolutely nothing in free agency and still have over 30 million to spend. What are they saving for? Wasting the championship window.
How could you think that predicting doom and gloom for the Texans would be an unpopular opinion around here?? LOL... Anyhoo... I have no idea how the regular season will go. Most likely 8-8 or 9-7. What I DO know beyond a reasonable doubt...is that, if we make the playoffs, we will get ABSOLUTELY SMOKED unless we play the Bengals.
