If in "selling" you mean telling everyone Hoyer and Mallet were at the same level. BOB worst salesman ever?

Can't believe we used a 5th round pick for this guy.

    "Selling to them?"

I think you watched too much Hard Knocks... BOB isn't close to losing this locker room or creating an imbalance... and even if he was, it would absolutely not be affected one iota by getting rid of an ineffective/struggling kicker.

And Justin Tucker just hit a game tying FG with 7 seconds to go. To be fair to Kubiak though, Tucker did fall out of the top spot for the most accurate kicker in NFL history earlier this year.

Justin Tucker just won the game. Unreal clutchness. Maybe if Kubes were a longhorn he would have picked Tucker 5th.

Tucker makes fat Randy look like crap but he's probably happy Scobee continues to look like dog**** for the Steelers, blowing the game for them on multiple occassions. He may get a call up from them soon.

It's all mental for kickers, he was the groza winner in college for best kicker, surefire pro. That titans game year one did it in for him, lost his confidence and that was that. He is done.

I can't really recall the Titans game, but didn't he blow a FG in the final seconds vs Indy, one of Keenum's starts?

Yes, Case's 2nd start on Sunday Night Football. Andre had 229 yards and 3 TDs. We were up 21-3 at halftime but Indy came back and took the lead with 4 minutes left to play. Randy missed a 55 yarder at the end of the game to tie it. But he also missed 2 other field goals, a 49 yarder and a 43 yarder. He was 1/4 on the night. There was a lot of blame to go around that night, but he blew several kicks that could've ultimately won the game, or at least sent it to overtime.

Yeah, that number should be "retired."

I'd rather the number be "redeemed".

That was also the Kubiak mini-stroke game... can't imagine the team being totally focused for that second half (not to mention they lost their play-caller).

Did BOB even realize he doesn't have the leg strength?

It was 3rd and 10, the defense is gonna give you more than the 2 yards they actually did get on the rb dumpoff. If they fought harder for yards, that 53 yarder could have been a more manageable kick.

It doesn't matter either way, nothing went our way in the first half and I wouldn't have been surprised if he had missed from 45. 0 or 3 points it didn't matter by halftime.

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Look for more kicker changes this week. Most likely to change: Tampa, where Kyle Brindza has missed 5 field goals and 2 PATs in 2 weeks.</p>&mdash; Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/650821011588300800">October 4, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I'm sure he'd fill the mythical touchback requirement...
