Nice to see us cutting loose bad OLs recently. Kalil isn’t an NFL player anymore. Get him off the roster.

Side question: is there any real benefit to having as much cap space as we do right now?

The cap space is for the future. You need to pay Watson, Tunsil, Fuller (if he can stay healthy),Roby (if he "proves it"), etc...

So this only further confirms that BoB is a big fat liar about Khalil being the presumptive starter at LT.

Did you really expect him to say he was going to be cut following the completion of a couple of trades involving Clowney, picks, Seahawks and Tunsil in a week or so?

You'd be happy if OBie said that Khalil was hot trash and had zero chance of making the team since busted up old ass was always injured?

Miami would then have asked for four first round picks, no?

No, I would expect him to say Roderick Johnson was being cut, which would have never happened just like Khalil starting over Johnson or Howard would have never happened.

We already paid him the 2.5 million we owed him. That was a signing bonus or something of that sort. Essentially, we aren't paying him something like 7.5 million by cutting him.

Don't believe everything reported on the internet kids.

This was a low risk, potentially okay reward type deal. It didn't work out. No need to use it as an extra reason to pile on the ball coach. We've already got enough.

I am pretty sure Miami already knew very well that Khalil's busted up old ass was hot trash and had zero chance of making the team. If not, they would have asked for him instead of Davenport.

and how do we know that the Dolphins didn't try for 4 first round picks and BoB temporarily had a moment of levity that saved him from himself? ;)

I hate that this team I love is so mismanaged. This guy should have never been signed in the first place...

All you have to do to enjoy your Texans fandom is have no expectations: watch the games, get excited when they do fun stuff, and shake your head, laugh and walk away when the inevitable happens. Wake up the next morning and everything's ok. Why anyone would invest actual "give a damn" into this franchise is beyond me.

And I love ****ing football, I love all Houston teams, but why beat yourself up every year?

Exactly. I’m just never going to be invested in THIS franchise until there is a fundamental change in how the team is ran and who knows when that’ll be if EVER so yea, I treat them like a cheap carnival ride, have fun, exit to your left and on to the next ride......

I’m pretty sure he is fine with it. Dude got paid $2.25M for basically half of training camp.
