    If he was a better player, this would be worth talking about.

    He was, for 2 years plus, very good but he hasn't been that guy in forever. He made a lot of money. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

    Why are people hating on Cushing? Yeah I know he’s not that good anymore but everyone knew he was going to get released.

    And to get upset over his PED history? Most nfl players take PEDs. You’re delusional if you think otherwise.

    Why wasn't he released right after he got suspended instead of after the season? Would he have still got paid during suspension?

    Becuase there was no reason to. The team was already shorthanded and his money was guaranteed so they might as well play out the season with him.

    I liked cushing. He could never recover after those illegal shots to the knees. A holy phenom that could could cover sideline to sideline except when he was asked to cover TEs, even when healthy he always struggled with that. He was the key defensive piece to that 2011 season.

    I suggest the movie "icarus" to anyone who thinks every tested player in ANY sport is clean. The amount of effort to beat a system is eye opening.
