You've convinced me, I can see a 5 win season and that's being generous.

Can't even give up on this season and hope for some picks because we gave it all up to clean up the mistakes our shtty gm makes. The day rick smith gets fired is when we finally have the chance to win

    He's a slow route runner.

Should've been a red zone threat

I get it, we hit on our first rounders almost seamlessly every year. But its been proven that you don't win Super Bowls on first round picks alone.

Look at the Pats, Seahawks, and Steelers. They are constantly finding gems in the mid rounds of the draft that help them recover from any first round misses.

    Steelers
2009 32 Evander Hood DT Missouri
    2010 18 Maurkice Pouncey C Florida
2011 31 Cameron Heyward DE Ohio State
    2012 24 David DeCastro G Stanford
2013 17 Jarvis Jones LB Georgia
2014 15 Ryan Shazier LB Ohio State
2015 22 Bud Dupree LB Kentucky
2016 25 Artie Burns CB Miami

    Patriots
    2008 10 Jerod Mayo † LB Tennessee
    2009No pick
    2010 27 Devin McCourty † CB/S Rutgers
2011 17 Nate Solder OT Colorado
    2012 21 Chandler Jones † DE Syracuse
    25 Dont'a Hightower † LB Alabama
    2013No pick
2014 29 Dominique Easley DT Florida
2015 32 Malcom Brown DT Texas
    2016No pick

    Seahawks
2008 28 Lawrence Jackson DE Southern California
2009 4 Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest
2010 6 Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State
    2010 14 Earl Thomas S Texas
2011 25 James Carpenter OG Alabama
2012 15 Bruce Irvin DE West Virginia
    2013No pick
    2014No pick
    2015No pick
    2016 31 Germain Ifedi G/T Texas A&M

Maybe the Steelers to a lesser degree but they definitely have penchant for finding impact players in the later rounds:

    2010 Draft
3 - 82 Emmanuel Sanders WR Southern Methodist
6 - 195 Antonio Brown WR Central Michigan

    2013 Draft
    2 - 48 Le'Veon Bell RB Michigan State

    2014 Draft
    4 - 118 Martavis Bryant WR Clemson

All their gems have been on the offensive side of the ball in recent years so it makes sense as to why they have struggled so mightily on defense.

Needless to say, they have had some serious Ws after the first round within the past 5 years or and beyond.

that's what I never figured out. He's physical and strong (no pun intended), you'd think if nothing else he can just go up and out physical the defender.

He ran a 4.44 40 yd at 20 lbs heavier. Slow isn't how I'd describe him.

Maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed, but was especially adept at catches at the boundaries.

That's SB hero Malcolm Butler he left in the dust there.

I think his point is more that he doesn't get in and out of his breaks quickly, meaning it take him time so build up speed. At least that was some of the talk about him in scouting reports. Regardless, it's still weird for him to not have produced

I think this has more to do with fit than it does with talent. Dude just wasn't getting targets. Brock and now Watson just look to Hopkins, tight ends, and backs.

Not sure you want Blake Bortles forcing the ball to anybody given his accuracy problems.

This just gets better and better. 100% chance he's there to sell secrets. So game 2 IN Jacksonville just got harder. Bully.

I've had it with this god damn duo of Smith and OBrien. Chumps.
