Can't even give up on this season and hope for some picks because we gave it all up to clean up the mistakes our shtty gm makes. The day rick smith gets fired is when we finally have the chance to win
I get it, we hit on our first rounders almost seamlessly every year. But its been proven that you don't win Super Bowls on first round picks alone. Look at the Pats, Seahawks, and Steelers. They are constantly finding gems in the mid rounds of the draft that help them recover from any first round misses. Needless to say, they have had some serious Ws after the first round within the past 5 years or and beyond.
that's what I never figured out. He's physical and strong (no pun intended), you'd think if nothing else he can just go up and out physical the defender.
He ran a 4.44 40 yd at 20 lbs heavier. Slow isn't how I'd describe him. Maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed, but was especially adept at catches at the boundaries. That's SB hero Malcolm Butler he left in the dust there.
I think his point is more that he doesn't get in and out of his breaks quickly, meaning it take him time so build up speed. At least that was some of the talk about him in scouting reports. Regardless, it's still weird for him to not have produced
I think this has more to do with fit than it does with talent. Dude just wasn't getting targets. Brock and now Watson just look to Hopkins, tight ends, and backs.
This just gets better and better. 100% chance he's there to sell secrets. So game 2 IN Jacksonville just got harder. Bully. I've had it with this god damn duo of Smith and OBrien. Chumps.
