Yet b****, the result are show Texans sacks are down by more than 20, even with the RT Howard being injured. And the assets u acquired made the Pro Bowl for the first time. The results have been good the 1st go around.

What also needs to be pointed out is Stills is a FA after next yr. So they potentially gave up a huge asset(s) for a guy who might only be here for two seasons.

Also, Tunsil has the Texans by the balls. They gave up not one but TWO first Rd picks and they'll look like fools if they can't resign him. Left tackles are paid well...but given the situation (they have NO leverage) they'll have to overpay him to get him resigned.

It's not replaced. Compensatory picks would have come in addition, not in replacement.

Currently they have no third next year and no second the year after that. And of course no first rounders the next two years.

We haven't even talked about the expensive extensions for Watson and Tunsil plus several other upcoming free agents

HUH? Does it matter if it is an Addition or replacement? It is a 3rd round pick.....not to far from the original. LOL. You keep repeating the same Bullshit over and over. Extensions for Watson and Tunsil, won't kick in til 2022 and 2021 respectively. The only 2 Free Agents that will have significant contracts are Roby and to a lesser extent, Reader. Texans will have 80-90 million in Cap space, even with the acquisition made....if not more. Roby will be around $12-$13 million a year, Reader around $7-$8 million a year. For Watson, the new CBA may take his contract out of the cap all together. You act like low 1st round picks are gold, they are not (high bust rate).

    GET OVER IT.

Wouldn’t call it a great trade.....yet. As of now with hindsight, Tunsil is a pro bowler that has mental lapses and is going to be highest paid Tackle in the league (hopefully we sign him)

Giving up that much in picks is a lot, but if he can shore up the mental aspects and resign here it’ll be worth it.

Also, still not clear on the picks we’ll have. Duke and Conley cost 3rd rounders. Need to see who will award us 3rd rd compensation.

It was a needed trade because the Texans didn't handle it previously.

It will be for Honey Badger. There is a formula for 2 - 3rd compensatory picks (unlikely). Roby signing eliminates a pick for Kareem Jackson.

When grading a trade its not black and white, good trade or bad.

These type of trade takes seasons to properly grade, something BoB numero uno jock rider, Scarface cant do.

Short term = it was a good trade, he got pro bowl, sacks are down

Long term = its probably a sht trade especially with BoB wasting this mans talent. Whats the point of giving away the future for a great player to just lose in playoffs due to an incompetent coach.

Thats just my opinion, but honestly lets wait 1-2 season b4 praising GM BoB that this was a great trade.

Seattle's 3rd is going to Oakland (For Conley).

Actually, No. The Compensatory pick is going to the Browns. Texans are keeping their 3rd (According to the reports after the trade).

Watson is probably currently injured without the trade.

    It doesn't matter

What matters is they gave up 2 firsts, a second and a third for questionable return (especially if you factor contracts).

This isn't how contenders are built. This is how he survived one more year though

Questionable? Franchise LT and a solid WR. The only you can Question is Duke for a 3rd. However, it turns out you needed him after Lamar got hurt.

    Keep trying though.

You think the Duke trade was questionable? I liked that deal. He's just not being used correctly
