Yep, they blew the season last week. As a result, a meaningless low-end bowl is there likely finale. Despite all signs pointing to a "trap" game they just couldn't see it. That's on coaching.

Unfortunate but true. College football usually hinges on a game or two anyway, but I want to see UH in a major conference. Too many pathetic teams in minor markets that don't deserve to be in the power 5.

I never felt this team would have the talent to run the table. However this team is still in position to win the conference title and that was in my opinion the goal all along. They'll roll Temple tonight. My only worry is Memphis. If UH takes care of Memphis and heads to the Championship game 10-2 versus an undefeated UCF which will be top 7 by then, winning the American will mean a bunch to me and those young men on the field.

The bowl match to follow could be a nice match up but knowing our history I doubt it. Just get the American locked up.

Applewhite has them ready to play to start the game! As usual! And by that, I mean they aren’t ready. As usual...

Three straight run plays, three and out again. What's going on?

    Fire Mark No D'ofrio
    Fire Appletits
    Welcome to life without Ed

    P.S. Fire Mark No D'ofrio

*To be fair to Appletits, I think this is Briles offense so if he gets credit when it's good...he must take some blame as well.

D'Onofrio has been bad. I thought he should go after the Texas Tech game. But the offense was flying down the field and now they're crawling in circles. I don't understand the play-calling.

Applewhite is just not a good coach. Houston has enough talent to beat a lot of teams on that alone, but when it comes to strategies and adjustments they are handicapped by mediocre coaching. On top of that, I don’t think Ed Oliver is coming back. He wants that payday and has probably seen enough of being triple teamed and chop blocked. They need to adjust going forward. Think they will? Neither do I.

Wtf do we call a fair catch on kick returns instead of trying to return it and get decent field position?

This team does not seem interested in tackling.

I'd say that's a fairly important part of football.

I never was excited about Applewhite, kind of a Levine 2.0, let's move on. UH definitely needs a new defensive coordinator.
