As much as Parsons is a douche, it's not his fault people are willing to pay him and it's not his fault he has been injured.
Not siding with the poster you responded to. But "with Anderson at least there was some hope the ball would go in"? Exaggeration much? Anderson has been shooting 40% from 3 since he joined the Rockets. Brewer never shot better than 28%. A 40% 3pt shooter is considered elite. 28% is considered crap. That said, I don't think the criticism of Anderson is racially motivated. It's about his contract. But that's another topic for another thread.
he so hot that chandsome. y sjax so mad doe? maybe he needs to go to a game and beat up some people in the stands again to air out some of that anger.
Man chandler is a dbag and deserves it, the funniest part was when he looked at mark after draining a shot in Dallas like he’s something special mark shouldn’t have let go off.
All Jax is saying is what NBA fans (specifically those in Houston, Memphis, and Dallas) are saying about Parsons.
But why would Memphis do that? How can casual fans like us look at Parsons and see him for what it’s worth? I don’t remember the posters name but the moment Parsons left he posted something about Parsons family being fat and that genetics weren’t on his side so he would face injuries real soon. Bingo! I'm just confused as to how professional coaches, managers, trainers, scouts, players, media personnel can all miss this. Maybe @RocketsTruth has a better explanation. @Pen15clubber
Jackson was a bit harsh in his criticism. While there's some truth in what he's saying, Jackson should've only mentioned giving inflated contracts to non-contributing players will cripple the team and shows bad management. Attacking someone's heart and character is mostly speculation/hearsay, but there's no denying that Parsons is overpaid for his 7ppg.
I'm rolling with JAX on this one. Everyone in the league knows Chandler doesn't care for the game. This is pretty standard knowledge.
First off, if Jackson worried half as much about his own short comings as he does Parsons; he wouldn’t have been ran out of town by Popovich (who doesn’t get along with Pop) and wouldn’t have had the reputation as a locker room cancer and uncoachable. Second Fizdale lost his job because the Grizzlies franchise players didn’t like him; especially Marc Gasol. This wasn’t the first time Gasol had issues with Fizdale and Conley has had some as well. If a coach doesn’t have franchise players supporting him; he is toast. Just ask Kevin McHale. Third, Parsons has little to do with any of this. He doesnt have the pull to get Fizdale fired. Further he wasn’t fired because of his record this year. Fourth, Paxson has a job because the Bulls owner is the most loyal in sports. It isn’t a racial issue either because that sane owner owns the White Sox and had let Kenny Williams stick around longer than Paxson and Williams is black. Stephen Jackson needs to go back to calling that fool Ray Allen gay and marrying his former drug dealer.
Also, speaking of money, I wanna root for us in the staples center this weekend but $65 for nosebleeds is too much
Look, I’m not saying CP is the hardest worker... But there’s a reason Mike Conley didn’t get called out. It’s a white guy thing! The way he shot down the brotherhood comment made that clear. But white people had slaves 100 years ago so nobody is allowed to point it out...
I don't know what "inside scoop" Jackson might or might not have on Parsons or the Memphis situation, but it does seem a little unfair to attack Parsons of all people for Fizdale's firing. First, Parsons got a legitimate injury-- and Memphis knew about his injury risk and his skills and limitations before they signed him. Not like Parson deceived them or just decided to stop working after he signed. Second, it seems that the main reason Fizdale got fired has to do with Marc Gasol, rather than the team's record without Conley. So whatever part Parsons plays in this is rather remote and indirect.
Parsons is actually doing extremely well this season in his restricted minutes, If you take into account his minute differences by looking at his per 36, you can see he's producing as well as he ever has in his career. Besides that point, yes it's r****ded for him to call him out. Parsons accepted the best offer just like any player would have. Grizzles let Zbo/Tony/Carter all go, Conley is out, that wasn't Parsons or Fiz's fault, it's on the Grizz's management. It's obvious the driving force was Marc, because the management have to know their loosing streak is mostly on themselves + injuries. Fiz overachieved with that roster if anything.
