Condolences to Pat. Big fan of his work, especially his training camp/pre-season notes. Hoping he makes a full recovery!

Pat raised his 4 kids alone... I cried repeatedly today thinking about Pat's kids that have spent most of their life without their mother. Now they lose their grandfather and their 1 parental figure is in ICU.

I've never been as proud to be a Houstonian as the days, weeks, months to follow Hurricane Harvey. We proved at that time that Houston is Family. I ask that you share that love again with one of your own that needs you. Here's a link to contribute thru his GoFundMe account (no amount is too small).

Let’s share some Houston love for Patrick and his family.

No amount is too small, and it sounds like it will be a while before he’ll be back on his feet.

Those who follow him will know Raulito and this posted after every Astros win...

Glad the fund is doing well. Any news on how he's recovering?

Texans offensive line last year needs to come up big and throw some money his way. He did some heavy lifting for them.

Didn’t know his personal history. Terrible to hear. He’s in ICU but do we know if he’s in danger? I sure hope for the best for him. Poor kids.

Sending some money your way Pat. I can’t do much for you and your family but I can do that.

Just shy of $20k. Nice start, people... thanks to all who’ve been able to give/support/retweet at any level.

Only that it’ll be a long road.

Looks like in addition to JJ Watt there were also donations by BOB and Tom Savage. Really nice of them to do so.
