As much of a tragedy it may be to move Harden, it may be our best option if and when we don't win the championship this year. In the next few years, we won't be active in free agency, absent in the draft (this year) and don't have cap room for the foreseeable future. How else can we significantly improve this team? I would trade Harden before his value diminishes or he leaves us with nothing to show for it. We need to stop comparing this team to last year's team. They are simply not the same team anymore. I'd much rather watch a team that competes for 48 minutes, runs plays, and plays dedicated defense then this ugly, ugly basketball we play even at the expense of not getting a low-playoff seed and bounced in the first round.
