No. Not when your only concern is holding the team 10-20yrs then flipping it for 3.3 billion.

He's already said the team was staying in the family.

Have you not realized that he is a 'talker'. Half the stuff he says is BS and is just for self promotion

He might keep it in family

    He might flip it.

people think clark was a young prospect for some reason. dude is 25 and is probably as good as he will ever be. ihart at least is a young prospect with potential growth.

Too bad. I wish he had developed faster. He barely seems to have improved from last season. Good for him to go to a team where they can spend more time developing him and be more generous with the leash.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk but I don't think the Orlando Magic is going to develop him. They haven't developed any of their other 14 front court players they've drafted in the past few years with the exception of Vooch and I think that was 100% Vucevic.

Magic need bodies, half of roster is nicked up/injured.

That could be true AND he will develop more there. We're not good at it either imo and we're contending.

I hope Gary comes out of his shell a bit more. If he gets minutes, be aggressive, look for his shot, impress the coach, get a longer contract.

GC needed a change. He is damn close to being a solid NBA player, but his window of opportunity grows smaller.

If my memory serves me correctly, Gary Clark is the guy we wanted to give Melo's minutes to after we waived him 11 games in the season. Now Melo's ballin in Portland, Clark's gone, and PJ's hurt. The Rockets front office making terrible decision after terrible decision

Has Melo joined a local Y league that he’s ballin in over in Portland? He definitely isn’t ballin in the NBA.

His 3 point shot has been good but his overall efficiency is below league average and what little positive he does bring on offense is totally negated by his inability to score efficiently in any other way and his unbelievably bad defense. He’s a negative across the board in advanced metrics.

The Rockets were totally justified in cutting him when they did and have only further been proven right to do so.

Keep in mind that our system may not conform with the strong suit of a players game

No they weren't lol. Our bench sucked then and sucks now. We have no size at PF & PJ is being run in the ground another season. Having another 16pts coming off the bench is a LUXURY on a team like this. The Rockets are a one trick pony that need scoring diversity. Melo is a PROVEN 3rd option
