I feel better going into this game than going into Game 3. You knew the Warriors would come be pissed about being embarrassed in Game 2, you knew Curry was due to go off, and you knew the home crowd would pump them up. Also didn't help that there was a 3 day layoff as the Rockets never do well if there's more than 1 or 2 days in between games. Rockets have responded well all season after losses when at full health and here's hoping they do it again.
The warriors can't handle the rockets talent when the Rockets play their game. They as a collective got just as much talent when you measure that the warriors cannot stop the rockets at all
But that actually didn't happen...? The Warriors were actually bad in the first half, Curry was terrible. The problem is we played even worse than them...in the second half we managed to play even worse and they started playing better as expected but man we were absolutely horrible out there. I just can't stop thinking game 3 was a game to steal for us.
If we end up 1-3 by tomorrow I am taking a hiatus from the BBS. A fan’s heart can only take so much. If we end up 2-2 I’ll let myself inevitably be hurt once again by the Rockets in a future game when they lay an egg like they did Game 3. At this point I honestly just want a shirt that says 2018 World Champions Houston Rockets — It does not matter how they do it.
Not sure how you come to that conclusion but whatever. Couldn’t disagree more. The Warriors are the more talented team and it’s really not close in my opinion.
The Warriors have more talent when you look at just their starting line up but when you include the bench they are at worst even. Look at what happened tonight when CP# and James play Steph and Durant even it comes down to the bench guys to be the difference makers. With that said the Rox missed wide open layups again and some wide open 3's
Made the second page but I knew we would take this game. It was a blowout game 3 was but it was still just 1 game.
Yup, we not only won this game in Golden State.... and pulled out a close 3 point win... but also came back from NOT 1 but TWO 12 point deficits.
The Warriors have more talent on their team. That’s just a fact. Not sure how you use Houston’s bench as an example in this past game where we only played 7 guys and they were without Iguadola. Houston’s deep bench had nothing to do with this past game. The Rockets just played harder than the warriors and made timely shots down the stretch. If they are going to win this series then that’s what they are going to have to do. Harden actually put effort into his defense. They played with desperation. Need two more games like that. Possibly three.
