Athletic peak typically happens around 28-29. He shouldn't show much slow down. I expect him to excel as the Rockets starting 5/back up 5.
Lol He shouldn't worry about the game plan. Harden is a Maestro at spoon feeding you easy looks to score. Just gotta hustle and be active.
lol MDA telling him to just jump near the rim & showing him Capella highlights as an example of what to do tonight
Faried crash course: JUST SET THE PICK AND GO TO THE RIM!! OR IF YOUR MAN DOUBLES JAMES, GO TO THE RIM!! IF A SHOT GOES UP, GO TO THE RIM!
The signing of Faried reeks of desperation. This is an also-ran move. And without a corresponding trade that lands us better at the 4/5 spots than what we currently have it won't work in the playoffs long term. Faried is an even worse-defending Clint Capela. Just a rim-runner that can't shoot. He will get flat blistered by either Draymond or Durant in the post. And they WILL ISO POST him up. And he will have to sit down on the bench. We are making this move because our rebounding is non-existent without Capela. Not because Faried can help us beat the Warriors. We are making this move to keep our competitive advantage throughout the regular season and to keep from absolutely killing Harden by playing him at the defensive 5. This is a patch job, plain and simple. There has to be a significant acquisition coming that will upgrade or our ability to play 5 out with shooters and switch everything. Short of that, we are also-rans.....once again......with another MVP season from Harden in his prime....wasted. I'm fine with Faried at the minimum playing secondary rotation minutes..... IF we move out Capela for a 4/5 that is a real difference making defender that can shoot threes. But......running Capela/Faried/Nene out there for anything combining for more than about 20 minutes a game against the Warriors is a guaranteed series loser.
