Been wanting to post this for a while, but didn't want it to seem like an emotional reaction to a fresh loss. Now seems as good a time as any. These guys, Bullard and Ackerman, are awful. Bullard has the mind of a 10 year old. He gets way more excited talking about his dirty underwear than he does talking about the Rockets. He makes really stupid jokes at every possible opportunity, and his voice is annoying and not made for broadcast. Craig also has the maturity of a school boy and he and Bull go off on stupid tangents way too easily. He gets so negative when we are struggling and his voice takes on this very morose tone, which makes it seem like a chore to watch unless muted. The only thing worse than this is when he gets too excited and does "splaaaaash." It sounds like he is mocking a down syndrome voice. Agree/disagree?
Bullard is pretty corny...Craig is decent which is a big step up from when he 1st started calling games on TV Matt Thomas is horrible tho...way worse than JPS
I have heard better, but I still disagree. CA is solid; He was terrible at first, but he is fine now. Bullard should be fired for trying to give everyone a trash nickname. "Bright Light" for Gary Clark is broadcasting malpractice. Craig is a fan and I appreciate him showing displeasure when the Rockets are playing like trash. I like Splash, Slash, Smash Gordon.
I like Ackerman, but Bullard is just a never-ending stream of puns and the same idiotic statements, game after game. Nice guy, but a dolt as a broadcaster.
Yeah Gary Clark is a singer with a song called Bright Light so Bull thought that would be a good nickname. it isn't. Thank goodness House has made Gary obsolete and is out of the line up because hearing that trash nickname is like nails on a gawd damn chalk board.
Others already said it but yeah: Craig is good. Bull is boring, i'm really tired of hearing every ****ing game the same three things "let it fly...Rockets want to shoot a lot of threeeees...keep shooting young fella"... And bring back JPS for the home games please, he was unique and made me appreciate more every single basket our players made.
man i had a lot of fun and had a good laugh hearing all your complaints and it reminded me why i love rockets announcers and would never ask for a change, not that it wouldn't be great, but these guys are so fun its unbelievable even when its nonsense and broken record of old cliches its adorable i want them never to change

Agreed on Bull, the guy has called Rockets games for 5+ years yet still says the same things every game.
