I think that response should be called out for what it was. It’s not an argument in good faith. The fact is it’s blatantly obvious that from the top to the bottom... every single person thats invested in supporting Trumpism openly wants help from Foreign powers who they THINK are aligned to them politically. They know their policies aren’t popular and want to secure minority rule for generations.

It’s an embarrassment. There’s no shame even at the bottom. Just a disingenuous attempt to deflect to distract from the obvious.

 

just let this go for now, table it - focus on 2020 and move him to a footnote in history.

With all due respect, you mean that you are “smart enough” to ignore it, because they are trying to get your guy reelected. Ignoring that it’s a hostile foreign power doing it says plenty about both you, and not just you, and Mr trump, and none of it is good. How can you simply ignore what’s going on? If the Russians were attempting to interfere in our elections in hope of electing or reelecting a Democrat for President, all of you would be beating your collective chests and screaming bloody murder, and you know it.

Other than Trump lashing out on Twitter about liberal bias in the media and with Tech to try and bully, what evidence do you have? You know there is a reason why Trump and his media arm brow beat tech companies right? Its about doing the same thing you are accusing them of doing...

 

Google? What the heck are you talking about? Our 16+ national security agencies, and Director Mueller, didn't accuse Google of doing anything. They accused the Russians of interfering with our 2016 election. Are you being deliberately obtuse? Where do you get "information" like this? Some fringe website pumping out garbage? All Google, Facebook, and several other entities that have social media sites have been admonished for is not doing a better job of policing them in order to prevent countries like Russia from influencing our elections. This has not stopped happening, by the way. The Russians have been busy after the 2016 elections, through the 2018 elections, and are busy now attempting to tilt the 2020 election in trump's favor. That's from our national security people, not from some fringe websites online.

 

They don't even have to succeed in changing votes. All they have to do is make it so that the state officials are unsure about the security of the vote so they can't certify the vote count. That will be chaos and Americans will not trust our electoral count. Trump would be happy, Russia would be happy, American citizens lose.

 

It is not okay for anyone to meddle. Luckily there isn't any evidence that Google is meddling.

I've been reading about those scenarios. Barr clearly would do anything trump asks. The idea is that trump falsely claims the "vote was rigged" and refuses to leave office. Barr backs him, creating chaos. One assumes the the Supreme Court would step in on the side of sanity. I'm not totally confident about that. Not with the current court.

Yeah, I stopped trusting the Supreme Court regarding vote counting issues.

 

@Astrodome used RT, the 24/7 Russian news agency in an attempt to "prove" Google is responsible for what Russia's intelligence agency is doing. FB, I think there are people here supporting trump that are either shockingly ignorant, or willing to post anything in an effort to place blame anywhere that isn't on donald trump and Russia.
