Seems like a good choice both in appointing the Special Counsel, and in the choice they made for the Special Counsel.

Gonna be interesting to see how the RNC circles the wagons on this one. Mueller seems like an excellent choice. Wow. And how many days in are we? 118?

Former FBI Director Mueller is nobody's tool. He served as director for 12 years. I think Congress had to allow the extra 2 years that went beyond the 10 years a director is allowed. The man is highly regarded both inside and outside the Bureau.

    Drip, drip.

Hopefully Mueller interviews Carter Page, Jared Kushner, and Jeff Sessions to ask why they all lied about having contact with the Russians.

If innocent, Trump will benefit from a quality nonpartisan investigation. This could be good news for the Republicans and Trump.

I know nothing of the choice, but I think it is the proper step to take. I think most telling of all is that Trump is silent! He knows he is done.

FWIW, I really don't think that he coordinated with the Russians. I am more inclined to believe they smooched up to him and built a relationship with him, legally as a private citizen, giving enough shadow of doubt and also stroking his ego to make him believe he could win over the Russians. With this great friendship he had he could bring the nations together..save the world...whatever the hell you wanna think to go down as the ultimate winner. I believe this is a thought planted in Trumps head by his russian dealings.

The Russians just picked him because they had the fool they wanted. They knew his personality and the shadow of doubt and grey area would be enough to undermine the Presidency and legitimacy of the US.

^ Trump seems the type that would rather look criminal than a stupid pawn.

He resembles other strong men like Saddam, who would rather pretend to have nukes than outright admit he didn't have enough resources to do what the US assumed he did.

The problem for both men is that they have enough dirt under their shoes to hang without proving the original charge.

Great news. Removes the partisan bullsh$& and the games that Trump was playing to impede any type of credible investigation.

Also - Republicans should be thrilled about this. It allows them to go on with the business of running the country and being able to hand this over out of their hands.

If a Trump fan is upset about this then they obviously think he's guilty cause if you think he's innocent, this is the best thing for Trump. He will come out of this with no question of partisan witch hunts or fake news from the deep state. This is one of the most credible ways to clear his name.

So if you are a Trump fan who wants to complain about this you are admitting you think he's guilty of a crime.
