Now you have the ATW types and most of the media more or less saying saying it is all due to Islam.

It is important that this is widely known in the Middle East even if not known in the USA.

Robert Kennedy gives a history in the article below showing how not only did the CIA do the more well known coups against democratic leaders in Iran and Guatemala, but did so in originally in Syria even before Iran and other Arab countries. These are not reported in the American press so it is easy to blame it all on Islam.

Also interesting is to see how the CIA and the Dulles brothers went against Roosevelt and Truman who were trying to not support colonialism after WW II.

Lots of history of American/ CIA involvement in the Middle East post WW II and how the current CIA regime change in Syria pre-dates the Arab Spring demonstrations which led to Syria turning to the SWoviet back in the 1940 and 1950's. Kennedy explains how the current Syria proxy war may have a lot to do with the Qataris/ Saudis/ American desire to put a pipeline through Syria that Syria and the Russians don't want to bring gas to Europe and cut out the Russian gas.

These types of posts are ignored on CF.net. They prefer to argue about who is the best among our puppet leadership. As they argue and wait for changes, things will be exactly the same. It's been that way for 70+ years.

I was hoping you might finally realize that the CIA and the multinational energy corporations could give a crap about Sharia Law, (see their buds the Saudis) though they do like little guys like you to be obsessed with it.

Did the CIA force Sayid Qutb/Osama bin Laden/Ayman Al-Zawahiri/thousands of other jihadis to declare that those who do not practice "true" Islam are apostates and therefore deserve to be murdered?

they certainly helped foster its most extreme interpretations. I suppose the calculation back then was "whoever's not a communist is alright in my books!".

    lol.

makes you wonder what other "end of worlds ideological conflict" is going to lead to misguided policy, distract future generations and shape future wars.

If you're a red blooded human living in the west , and straight (sorry bonside storm) it is imperative you understand the difference between narratives and the reality of life in the 21st century.

It amazes me that in the year Spotlight won the Academy for best motion picture , moderate muslims still refuse to close down on or acknowledge numerous ideological transgressions in their community that lead to violence, denial and the dirty arab mentality anyone who's lived amongst muslim communities can tell you about. The problem with Islam goes a lot, lot deeper than the terrorists - that's a propaganda spin orchestrated by moderates.

The Islamic world has been self destructing long before ballistic missiles were invented , and continues to wage muslim on muslim genocide through its darkest hours. Honor killings, rape, child grooming, the belief we're special and living for after life, constant anti west thoughts despite living in the west ... make it hard to integrate on a real level with modernity. If you don't think a reformation is in order, it's because you ain't looking. You're eating up liberal talking points so society will accept you , enjoying the fact you haven't been personally affected by muslim narratives. It is ridiculous to see how islam interferes with an educated woman's thoughts - having been told this by numerous women in tears desperate to break the chains of 21st century Islamic group think. The amount of manipulative men and zombified women making up society make it so hard to be true to ones self. But hey, there's a paid youtube video of a girl saying she's happy, sounds good to me!

To put the whole it's America's fault excuse in context , it's like a girl having a stoned orgy with 12 murderers , than beating someone up, and saying it was because her daddy didn't love her enough as a child. Or blaming a playoff loss on not enough practice as a child.

At some point, you have to acknowledge you're a grown up and take accountability for flawed ideologies. One great thing about the US is its diverse people who take accountability for their mistakes and hold themselves to a high standard.

So why, then, must we tip toe around muslims like they're spoilt 13 year olds, listening to them whine about their daddy problems instead of making the changes needed to be respectable humans? Are we afraid they gon Charlie Hebdo us? Unfortunately, for now, it looks like their barbaric methods of fear mongering have worked on th e western media.

Actually, the CIA ran the highly unethical MKUltra program experiments in Canada--right at the Douglas at McGill actually. Compared to that the terries they helped foster and cultivate haven't really done that much to Canada.

Thanks for responding to the point, though ATW, as always--

You're always bemoaning Saudi Arabia. lol. who do you think provides the military support and funding to keep that terry-pumping theocracy alive and well.

So is Robert Kennedy Jr., a fanatical anti-vaxxer, someone about whose opinions we should care a lot? Other than being related to some famous politicians from the past, how is he an expert on anything?

oh you're trying to ad hominum attack Robert Ken Jr.

I thought the topic you were trying to bring up was "did the CIA invent Sharia Law", but if you want to talk about Robert Kennedy, meh, have at it.

    ad hominem

    carry on

Also, a word of advice, intern:

Stick to easier words. Trying to look smart, but not looking smart is not good for your intern career.

Every other one of your posts in this thread has been logical fallacies.. one after the other. For someone who is allegedly paid for coming up with valid arguments, you do a very amateurish job of it here.

You should stick to being a jackass to people who got you great hotel deals through this board. Apparently you are an ass on the board and an ass in...hotels.

Must have been the CIA's fault as well.
