    Story

Actor Bob Hoskins has died of pneumonia at the age of 71, his agent has said.

The star was nominated for a best actor Oscar in 1987 for crime drama Mona Lisa opposite Sir Michael Caine and Robbie Coltrane.

He announced he was retiring from acting in 2012 after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

    More to follow.

    ----

:( I'll always remember him from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Hook.

A great character actor, but his career never fully recovered from making Mario Brothers.

I'll remember him for that awful Mario Brothers movie.(not his fault)

I almost forgot he was in Roger Rabbit (definitely forgot Hook), he was also the bad guy in Unleashed with Jet Li. (Underrated movie)

RIP. I appreciated him numerous movies, but the one that really jumps out at me is Brazil. He was great at that.
