Life of Pi -- been meaning to watch this for a long time -- it wasn't as good as I was expecting, but it was very solid... 8.1/10

I just finally watched this for the first time as well.......like within the past month. I too was underwhelmed. Good, but not up to the hype. On IMDB, it's only one tenth of a point behind slumdog millionaire, but in terms of movies with a heavy Indian slant, I liked slumdog a LOT more. But that's just me.....

Yeah I was expecting a grand epic tale - it ended up being Cast Away on a boat with Wilson played by a tiger.

    Kill the Irishman- 4/10

How does a movie with Christopher Walken in it suck so bad? I fell asleep during and woke up to one of the 5000 car bombs that went off. The acting/directing was so bad for a fairly good cast. Its on netflix if you want to be disappointed.

    Documentary: Evil Genius 9/10

About the guy who robbed a bank wearing a bomb collared to his neck. If you liked The Jinx you will like this. I watched it only because I was told there was footage of the bomb detonation, but I was pulled in by this mysterious story.

The Quiet Place - 11 out of 10. Best horror movie I have seen in a long time. And not just because Emily Blunt was in it. Great work by the cast, well directed, good job avoiding showing too much of the monsters until the very end. And there will be a sequel.

    The Equalizer: 8/10

it’s a fun movie, and I’m always a fan of Denzel...Denzel was like a black Punisher whoopin ass like a senior citizen version of John Wick

    A Wrinkle in Time

    -100000000000000000000000000000000000000 / 10

What an incredible piece of s***. I can't understand how a movie that had so many talented people in it could be so f***ing horrible. Did no one during filming just stop for a second and say "really? This is really how this is going to go?"

    The Gift- 6.9/10

On netflix, good plot, good story. Jason Bateman as usual with his easy-to-like and easy-to-hate acting. Definitely a watch, if you have time.

Solo - 7/10 (and I am being generous).

Paint by numbers plot. Without the Star Wars angle, there is nothing about this movie that inspires.

Black Panther - 7/10. Maybe lower...maybe higher. I need to watch it again but it certainly didn't blow me away.
Infinity Wars - 9.5/10. It's so much and hard to process it all but just sitting back and watching it for entertainment was great.

Upgrade - 7-8/10. Love the plot and the action sequences, maybe a bit more character development and more of an explanation of STEM's reasoning would have made this closer to a 9. Nonetheless, I was very happy I saw this on a whim, it was a pretty damned good movie.
