I'm glad he called McHale out on not playing the rookies. I hope at least Terrance Jones gets playing time in the Atlanta game. If we come out with this same rotation and Hardin has a 25 point night and Lin scores 18-20 points and we lose without any rookies playing... I would definitely be calling out McHale on this.

As I'm sure a lot of people have already stated, bench play is really something to worry about, and though he was having such a great night he was bound to play a lot anyway, I cringe at the thought of Harden having to play 44 minutes just to beat the Pistons. If Douglas keeps stinking it up I say let's give an early chance to Machado.

Article was written by a friend of mine. Sorry for the horrible paragraph spacing.

Interesting read. Don't agree with much of it but interesting nonetheless.

Is Morris on the team because if he was cut it would reveal another bad pick by Morey?

Do you really think that's the reason the Rockets trade and play players? Lol, stupid post.

One good point from the article is the fact that McHale chose to play none of our first round picks in the first game after they played well in pre-season. Let's face it -- this team is not ready to be a contender even with a superstar in fold in Harden. We need at least another star to get it to where we need to be. We need to play the young guys to develop them or showcase them for a trade later.

I agree with this article. We might get more wins by playing the likes of Douglas, Delfino, etc. now, but we're without a doubt better off down the road if we play the rookies.

for the second unit we definitely need a creator on offense, Toney Douglas isn't that guy. Livingston was definitely someone who would have been perfect but since he was cut, Machado should get that role, he's proved several times that he provides instant offense with his great passing. I just don't get why he doesn't get a chance.

Can you imagine Scott running the show with Cook and Delfino on the wings and Jones and Smith on the pick and roll? Sure we'd get burned on the defensive side but we'd surely keep up with our offense.
