I didn't listen to the Mike vs. Seth fracas, but the discussion here reminds me of several years ago when Rich Lord just unloaded on Josh Innes like a cannon. Never in my life had I heard Rich get so angry and personal. It was so bad I thought for sure Innes was done on AM610 at that moment, but he was back a day or two later.

Its obvious that the altercation was staged to deceptively pump the radio app. They were testing their download numbers, very sad

You really think so? Seemed like that was some deep rooted anger that hit the boiling point.

If you listen to the clip posted in the previous page, as Mike is walking out you can hear him say “so ****ing unbearable.” Kinda doubt he would have cursed if it was staged.

Everyone was on the show. They seemed cool. Seth did say his wife was mad at Mike lol. And Mike basically seems like he's taking the blame pretty fine. I listened for 20 min. Pancakes was on as well.

Yeah, I downloaded it. (living out of Houston). Radio app is terrible compared to Tunein....it doesn't automatically continue to play if it stops for a moment....it was highly annoying during my commute this morning.

Never thought I would hear/read/remember the name Russ Small again. I remember his first days at AM740 very well. He was a complete disaster from the start in Houston.

Whatever worked for him in Detroit didn't translate here. Wonder what happened to the guy after AM610 cut him loose.

I remember him being ok good on TV, but I was young and didn't really care, don't remember him at all on the radio, for whatever that's worth.

Russ Small and Charlie Palillo used to have a show on 740 way back in the 80's. This was before any of the other sports shows existed. They also did the Rockets postgame on 740 as well. They actually made a good team and complimented each other pretty well.

Small on his own, however....never really did anything for me.

I listened to the podcast posted above a few days ago, if I recall there wasn't any real beef, just that they didn't mesh well and Lance just did his own thing while Adam did his. Something about it being Adam's first big drive time spot too, and maybe Lance being tired of getting shuffled around at 790.

I recall Russ Small as being lame with zero personality.
    Rich Lord sucks.
