Inspired by the liquor cabinet thread.......

At a holiday party yesterday there was only Sam Adams Winter Lager and Chocolate Bock. I had to stop at 3 because I was full. Lots of people couldn't even finish one and were wondering where the Miller Lite and Bud Light was at.

So what are some good premium light beers to try? Only one I ever tried that was ok was Amstel Light.

tl;dr Need great taste; less filling.

When I don't want to drink a proper beer and want to avoid that bloated feeling, I drink wine or neat whisky or tequila.

Wine is very underrated & the quality of it in the US is way better than the beer IMHO.

Heineken for me usually. For cheap go Rolling Rock (it's the least filling beer IMO).

Premium Light Beer is an oxymoron.

No such thing as a PREMIUM light beer. Keep in mind, those heavier/fuller beers often times have double the alcohol so you mAy not many
    Totally disagree

Get a micro brew with 10% abv. Might have more calories than a light beer, but you'll get drunk off far fewer.

Start drinking single malt scotch and never worry about getting filled up.
