I only voted 10-6 as to hedge on the conservative side. I would say 12-4 if I allowed the hype to get to me. I can see this team being lethal as hell and also having some really dumb ass games if they want. It really depends on their consistency. Not to overuse one of my most disliked lines, but this team has always played checkers against teams who play chess. They've always had some deficiencies with the mental side of the game, lets hope those can be ironed out, or at least made a little less wrinkly.

Easier said than done. I can legitimately get hyped for the Astros and Rockets much easier than the Texans. It pretty much boils down to how those teams are ran, compared to how the Texans are. Rick Smith wasn't a bad GM, but he wasn't great either. Ownership leaves much to be desired, and the coaching hires/firings have been suspect. I still don't trust them to make the educated decisions. We'll see how this new Gaine/O'brien ran team works now. Maybe the tide will finally turn.

 

I'm going to assume the answer is always 9-7 until they can prove to me they're better than that. If healthy, double digit wins certainly isn't out of the question.

That would put us at 11-5. I could see us slipping up and letting one get away and going 10-6, but I feel very confident going into this season. Granted, this is all predicated on the overall health of the team.
