    My prediction: Serbia

    Serbia population: 7 million (tiny country, as tiny as ants in the world map)
    former all-stars: Divac and Peja
    current all-star: Jokic

    Greater Houston Texas area population: 7 million

    NBA players in world cup:
    USA: Entire roster (Group E)
    France: Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier, Nicolas Batum, Frank Ntilikina, Vincent Poirier (Group G)
    Serbia: Nemanja Bjelica, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Marko Gudurić, Nikola Jokic, Boban Marjanovic (Group D)

    Serbia is nice, France is okay, Australia doesn't have a chance.

    I think the USA wins despite its lack of superstars, too much-talented depth. Serbia's starting lineup might be equal to USA's, but the bench won't be able to hang.

    Went the homer vote and picked Australia. Don't think it will actually happen but those Boomer lads have heart, defend with tenacity and share the ball better than any team in the WC - every single bucket against the Dominicans was assisted. Amazing stat.

    If we beat France tonight then look out!

    Had to fill the bench with a couple of 3rd stringers, but honestly, not much worse than team USA.

    So USA lost back to back to France and Serbia. They are playing in the 7th place game against Poland :eek:
    Argentina, France, Spain and Australia are still in the mix to win it.
