Not my usual post, but here goes: This is not a political post, or a joke in any way, it is a call to action to do one simple thing that could save lives. I have a modest proposal that could save lives if we all buy in: Take your temperature once daily, and upload to takeyourtemp.org. According to a New York Times Article, Kinsa Smart Thermometers are able to track COVID-19 in real time by tracking user data and accurately predicting the spread of the virus before anyone else. The only problem: not everyone has a Kinsa Smart Thermometer, and they can't make them fast enough. This is my proposal: let's solve this problem with crowdsourcing. Pledge to take your temperature every day and record the result at takeyourtemp.org. Help spread the word by posting on social media with #takeyourtemp. With your help, if enough of us do this, researchers will be able to track the spread of COVID-19 in real time, making it possible to send resources and enforce stricter rules more efficiently. # Please share this post wherever you think will be helpful.
