Did anyone see the ESPN video of his bad pass, getting crossed over and a bunch of late closeouts on those G-Leaguer? He also was standing around the 3 point line doing absolutely nothing on O.

He was trying to be the "leader" on defense by telling the young stars to communicate on D but he and the entire USA team got torched every way possible. Not a good look for him since they got rocked by scrubs and could possibly get upset by the other world teams. He probably felt it was best for him to leave team USA since he wasn't contributing much (since no one was listening to him and his vocals) and did not want to risk a real injury since hes literally 10 years older than everyone (almost same age as Carmelo and you don't see him making a USA comeback). Just my thoughts.

Y’all take off an inch every time you mention him lol he’s not under 6’6. PJ is more important to a title contender than Kuzma because he’s a winning player and Kuz hasn’t been so far. Kuz is an inefficient scorer and nothing else, which is not good for a contending team. Bucks would start Giannis-Tuck-Lopez

He's not injured. If you notice, this is how all players who don't make the cut for Team USA get a graceful, face-saving exit. A fake minor injury that gives them an excuse to leave other than saying they were cut. It's just public relations.

Would he have made the final cut anyways? Regardless, this is good news for us.

Sure, Tilman. You are too cheap to let PJ represent the country!

I am sure he would have made the team over White and injured Smart.

Looks like team USA needs him. Why do I have a strong feeling that Spain is gonna beat us this year? ...oh...because they will.

Glad it’s just an ankle. Glad he’s making the rational decision. PJ will just have to dry his tears with a championship trophy.

He is not fine at defensive rebounding, which was our one glaring weakness last year. He is a terrific defender and rebounder for a SF. We NEED a PF with length. Cure that and we are the favorites to win it all in my opinion. Clark does not have the motor or athleticism to become a legit answer this year

Don’t understand the fascination with Love. He is always hurt and way too expensive and by the way can’t play defense.

Good. Keep him out of the embarrassing performance team USA will have in this World Cup.

So he twisted it twice. Watch this be a nagging injury throughout the season. Those corner threes aren’t goin to drop so consistently

Don't worry. We have Bennett and McLemore now. They never miss. :D

Never forget that this is the guy that ranted all over the board with PJ Tucker hate when he was signed. He posted a long list of scrubs that he was furious we didn’t pay instead of PJ (DeWayne???) and he has been bashing him since day one.

Since PJ has been a massive stud for us, he has thankfully been very, VERY quiet. :D

    Glorious...
