I never put Pizza in the fridge.

It is eaten by lunch time the next day, or before I go to sleep if ordered during the afternoon. Otherwise it isn't gonna get ate.

I used to leave my pizza out overnight sometimes in college when I didn't have a refrigerator in my dorm. I never got sick though.

I would never do that now though, I'm much more civilized.

It's only acceptable if you're in college, partied, and woke up to find pizza left out.

In a classic example of Baader-Meinhof phenomenon I woke up about at around 1 am last night with food poisoning after eating a left over noodle dish. Wasn't bad fortunately just a weird headache and sea sick like nausea that lasted 3-4 hours. I was able to keep my no barf streak alive but there were some nervous/ uncomfortable moments. Can't figure out how I got it as the leftovers were prepped about as safely as possible. May have been the home made sun dried mayo seasoning paste I used.

It's a testament to your restaurant's food safety practices that it's still good. Probably because of the direct heat the pizza goes through.

Leave undercooked burgers/meat overnight at your peril.

Unrefrigerated overnight chinese food is a gamble.

Besides a kidney infection. Food poisoning was the sickest I’ve ever felt. Just death for 12+ hours. I’ve only had it happen once though.
