Paul Pierce: I won't be blown away by James Harden's stats until he starts averaging 40

PP has always been a Harden hater and a jerk in general.

 

Yes. Weird how anyone can see that and interpret it as him hating on Harden. Just the opposite. He is basically saying that Harden scores so easily that this is nothing for him.

 

This seems like a "fake injury, wheel chair" Hollywood stunt.

 

If Kemba was averaging 37, Pierce would be drooling all over his Celtics boy!

 

I also agree. I mean, I’m not impressed. My appreciation has become expectation at this point. If and when he gets his shot going (like lately), I’m expecting 40’s nightly, with 50’s being the impressive games. Paul even stated we’ve seen him average 40 in a month before. With the frantic pace we play with now (also a reason for ‘lack of’ d, skewed perception), I’m with Tracy, I think he will get 40 for the year. That will be impressive, most impressive.
