Sounds pretty confident. Guess Cal has already given him assurances.

O’Brien likes the setup where he runs the entire organization and has no accountability to anyone? I am ****ing shocked.

With BOB's ego, I imagine I'd say the same thing, regardless of what was going on behind the scenes. I wouldn't give the press the satisfaction of seeing me sweat, and instead double down just to troll the public.

Probably decided to stay in New England after he found out Bill became the GM.

Or the Texans found out he was working on an extension....and chose the Easterby and O'Brien route.

    We MAY find out.

No better choices as GM than BOB? Nah, I think most good candidates will want to wait a few years until the situation plays out and OB's fate is decided one way or the other. However, if GM BOB keeps trading draft picks into the future, no one worth their salt will want to come here. Cal is the dealer and OB is playing the hand for all of us...

Now we get to find out if GM Bob was a real thing or a smoke screen biding time until Caserio's contract expired in May (prior to yesterday's extension). Bill GM, or real GM? Hoping for the second, but preparing to be disappointed. Combine and draft are fast approaching.......and now that I said that, I wonder if Bill convinced McNair that this year's draft wasn't important enough to hire a GM outside of the organization given the lack of 1st & 2nd round picks?

lol you think BoB is going to give up power? He already has complete control of the organization. There is NOTHING that will make him relinquish it. Cal has stupidly given this idiot total control of football operations for the Texans and he is going to run this franchise into the ground.

    The TEXANS are absolutely SCREWED
