want to be excited but Alex Kurtzman has been involved in zero star trek projects I have liked. He's just the worst. Horrible.

I'm always ready for more Star Trek, but my expectations are low for this.

It seems like they would bring back other TNG actors as guest stars as well but who knows?

This does reopen the era from the late 80's/90s that I grew up watching. It could lead to appearances from Voyager,DS9 and TNG.

Liked Voyager and TNG, loved DS9. Would be cool to see whats going on in the federation post dominion war.

I have such great memories of sitting on the couch in the living room watching TNG with my dad. Patrick Stewart is such a great actor, and while Picard isn't my favorite Captain (that title belongs to Sisko), I cant imagine passing up the opportunity to watch a new series with Picard involved.

Many a middle aged woman rubbed one out to Jean Luc Picard in the 80’s and 90’s.

Fixed it for you... well I guess both are probably correct.

I gotta say, I enjoy the orville enough to actually go back and watch star trek more religiously. I saw it as a kid, but I wasn't really obsessed with it.

It could be worse. He could have a big gut and a toupee.

I have no doubt Patrick will make it work and won't settle for bad material. A 10 year captain veteran doesn't settle for schlock schtick schit.

Good thing Morey isn't producing the new series. He'd make it a musical.

fwiw: I was able to stop listening.
