That's the thing about the Bin Laden family I don't get. Super rich and super privileged yet conjuring hate out of something that never effected their lives in any shape or form. These people were apart of the elite class that were within the Arab Emirates and would own cities like Dubai...

They come up with as much propaganda as they can and recruited poor Muslims to join their fight. Just completely the most ironic thing ever..

What super rich Americans are calling for (and recruiting poor Americans for) terror attacks in other cities?

I never know of anyone hating because of just wanting to hate. They have strong enough beliefs that override their comfortable life. That, in itself, is why they are able to attract followers.

He is so young looking. 12? How can a 12 years old hold such views? I think it show that when you grow up in a belief system, however radical or non-sense it is, you are likely to adhere to that belief system. Other young teen followers also grow up some belief system that make them attractive to recruit by these groups and much more likely to join these groups.

Our past approach don't exactly help to break that belief system. We should not be thinking of a military and might as the only solution. It won't likely work long term. You have to understand where they are coming from and try to address those roots also.

That little boy needs a spanking or to be grounded. What grades did he get on his last report card?

My understanding is that most of the Bin Laded family doesn't adhere Osama Bin Laden's views and that he was ostracized by the main part of the family.

The Bin Laden Group is one of the biggest development and construction companies in the World. I figure if most of them actually felt the same as Osama that there is no way that company could survive along with their wealth.

While that's true, changing their minds will never work.

These people brainwash the younger generations, and it won't matter what the U.S. does, they will still grow up hating us.

    These people are not reasonable.

This is the same culture where even the "reasonable" people who are not terrorists will stone women to death in public for minor offenses.

It's just not realistic to act like they are reasonable people where you can change their minds like public opinion is changed in America by running public service announcements.

Replace with Obama's picture. Then your statement makes more sense.

It's more fun to pretend he's a little boy, though.

There's a difference between feeling one way and acting out on it.

The wide , wide feeling in the Islamic and Arab world is very similar to OBL. OBL acts out on it, and that's why they separated from him. It's not like they fundamentally have a higher emotional sophistication like western based populations.

You have a culture that fosters hate and depraved attitudes - the only thing preventing it is the facade rich muslims put up to be accepted in civilized situations. Therein lies the need for change - but it won't happen because disadvantaged people need to feel accepted into something.

ISIS isn't that radical considering some of the verbatim Quranic content.
