Zero. I will be getting zero tickets.

I know that gives me zero chance of winning, but that's very similar to the chances of someone who buys many tickets.

I bought 3 and I'm terrified I might win. I'm not even joking.

The Republicans/1% wants the poor to pay for everything anyway. So this gives the poor at least a chance of joining the 1%.

You will continue to be poor with that attitude.

I only hope that, if I win, I'll be invited to dine with @Trader_Jorge and some of his Mexican industrialist pals.

Assuming 1 person wins this, I think the government would take about 25% off the top, then bill you for the rest of it (15%) at tax time? So you would get a tax bill for 150 million dollars. LOL.

Of course, you would have cleared 600 million after paying all taxes, so you should still be able to get by....

Hell, if you just put that 600 million in a conservative index fund with, I don't know, a 5% return? You would earn about 30 million a year without ever even touching the golden goose. That's like 500K a week. It would be literally impossible to ever go broke. Your family would be set for life until literally the end of the world.

Just mind-boggling to even think about numbers like that.

And yet according to history whoever wins will still be more likely to end up broke.

Everything in life is risk/reward. $2 for a shot at 1 billion is throwing money away yeah, but the r/r is too juicy to pass up.

Maybe it is worth $2 to be able to fantasize for a few hours about all that cash.
