Timing was horrible. Agreed. I just don't think O'Brien was the innocent bystander in the offseason. I think he absolutely was fine with the draft picks and the free agent signing. There was still time to get something done between June 8 and July 15 for Clowney. I think the just botched that situation; counted their losses and traded him to Seattle. I think the Clowney situation is where Gaine and O'Brien drew the line. That was reported and I believe it.
