I wonder if many Christians who abhor Pence's bigotry will applaud Warren for not backing down and speaking honestly rather than saying what is the most politic. We've seen that doesn't actually win elections.

The country is divided — and it’s all Mike Pence’s fault.

Tell me what JC would do next. This is fruitful, really.

Nobody knows. What I believe JC would do is love folks, hate prejudice, and probably lambast people who claimed to be doing God's will while being cruel and discriminatory against folks.

if i was ever going to be a one issue voter, it's warren's call to break up google, amazon, and facebook.

Apart from the instigation of active war with a nuclear power, there's no issue i really consider close to the danger those corporations pose to society.

I mean you might be right. It's funny though because Trump has everyone beat by a country mile on aggression. But it works for him. The dynamic is different for women.

Yeah basically. She shakes when she talks sometimes. Can you imagine how people would react if a man did that? They'd call him unhinged. Instead people interpret her lack of emotional control as a "strong woman" because they equate losing your cool as a sign of strength.

honestly I believe Hillary Clinton would be a stronger candidate, right now, than Elizabeth Warren is. "Smartest politician ever" or not.

She has a long and successful record of being a good cop on the beat and protecting consumers. She has earned full trust in that department.

That won't fly. Esepcially after she suggested breaking up large tech firms. Big tech will sink her and throttle her for daring to suggest breaking them up. Google will manipulate search results, Twitter can do that too, and Facebook will push negative news about her to people's newsfeed. Her candidacy died faster than when Howard Dean said he'd go after Big Media. Fatal mistake IMO. She won't win at this point and can only hope to further her "buster of chops" reputation with her base.

That sounds like a definite reason to go after them. They shouldn't be so big they are above the system.

Yeah, you could argue that. I am definitely not against addressing their power abuses.

Personally, I think we need an Internet Bill of Rights.

Uh no. These things are obviously not good for humanity. Just sharing my take.

So this is why you were acting weird in the yang or aoc for president thread i made. Tell me about warren. She seems like your typical politician. Her twitter is just talking crap about trump which is fine. What is her stance? Any major reforms?

She seems touchy and scared about labels. Too timid to stand up and fight for change. Like once she gets to office she will be too comfortable to follow through on any promises.

I could be wrong, but i like what she believes in. But she seems more sheep than wolf.

Is that from looking at her legislative history as a senator or her tweets?
