Yeah, not to derail, but it's very tough on non-tech people. If someone wasn't grandfathered into a family property or a rent-controlled property, teachers, firefighters, civic employees all live further and further away in the outer suburbs, with huge BART rides or huge drives. Not pretty.

Peddling socialist lies? Like medicare for all and tuition free college? Thank god for that. Thank god he’s also the ONLY politician who’s going to finance his entire presidential campaign with zero PAC money and billionaire fundraising.

And his wife doesn’t have a scandal, I dare you to bring up Burlington college lmao. That was literally reported by the Republican Party in Vermont and absolutely nothing came of it because she didn’t do a damn thing that’s illegal, or that has **** to do with political influence.

Stick to your YouTube inspired “Trump ain’t that bad” threads. Youl get demolished trying to call Bernie corrupt.

The office would likely kill him. I don't want him to die even though I dislike his politics. I wish him well and for him to step down.

All high level politicians are corrupt. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a puppet.

Most pawns get angry when you bring this up... so I expect you to lash out some more.

Unless you provide proof of Bernie's corruption, you are the idiot here.

Most are, not Bernie. If you were nearly as "woke" as you believe you are, and as against corruption as you say you are, you'd simply be one of Bernies biggest supporters. Instead, you care so much about being woke and against corruption that you're making all important... Trump ain't racist threads & antifa yells at old lady threads?

Seems legit. You care about the issues bro. It's not all about dumb partisan sensationalism that you claim to hate and often mock on the left, but somehow also gleefully participate in favor for on the right.

Keep calling people puppets and pawns... the irony is painful to watch.

Yeah sorry politicians are corrupt bro... otherwise they don't last... call me an idiot all you want. I'm comfortable in my knowledge of the actual realm of politics. Sorry if this truth makes you uncomfortable or sad.

I don't even own a gun, nor feel the need to join a militia. Also odd you think militias would be anti govt. Most militias probably are ready to asist the govt in the event of an attack on our country. Maybe you're the one harboring anti govt anger. I actually just accept a certain level of corruption has existed in govt since the inception of it and it will always exist. There is a natural way people act and a natural way things play out. We are no different than the romans. Corruption is unavoidable. Minimize it but it will always be there.

Might want to look a little closer at their rhetoric, and the events that started the militia movement.

They are pretty much all decidedly anti-gubbmint.

I don't go seeking out militia rhetoric nor do I plan to. I'll take your word for it.

That debate over UBI yesterday made me think that the Bay Area should enforce a UBI as a pilot program.

Then I remembered the U stands for universal.... so something like a regional EITC for people making 85 less made more sense.

Who pays for it? You know who.

Bar napkin thought with a lot of logistics to overcome, but it seems like the right area with the right tolerance for the concept while testing to see if those Berkley ideals haven't been hollowed out into lipservice and the values statements of "world transforming" startups.

Concern troll post of the year!

Let me try. I am concerned that Trump might get too stressed out and eat too many Big Macs if he has another term and though I disagree with his policies, but wish him good health.

Proud to have caucased (sp) for Bernie in the last election. He is as authentic and honest as they go. One of a kind, for sure.
