If it has to be one of the two, better that it's Blum and not Kalas. I much prefer Stanton to Eschenfelder. But that's just me.
Watching our series vs the A’s since mid June, I can’t figure out if the A’s are going to fall flat on their face in September or in the playoffs. I just can’t see them doing anything in the playoffs. And we know the A’s will just blow up the team in the off season. So at least it’s not a long term worry in the division.
Oakland is just a good team right now PED's or not. They don't seem to have problems with the hitting background nor should we.. It's time our bats come alive and put Oakland in their place. They have won over 70% of their games since the middle of June and we are going to have to start hitting and playing better at home if we are going to hold them off. This game is still early. There is still time to come back.
