Surprised Stassi batting so low. Isn't he our best hitter vs lefties? Would at least put him above right-handed Margo.

Whoa, Yuli playing 3rd. I didn't think we'd ever see him over on that side of the infield again.

Good to see Gattis swinging the bat well. He's on a roll right now.

Lol all the guys saying we couldn’t even give his contract away a few weeks ago were cracking me up on the trade thread

Gattis will finish May with an OPS for the month north of 950, best on the team for May

He will never show the consistency of our studs, but he can be one of the guys who carries us during his hot streaks, and there is a place for a couple of those on any great team

Yeah, but I'd have kept him as the #2 catcher and called up Reed or White instead of Federowicz. Would be nice to have everyone contribute at least something defensively, and I think White and even Reed would have been better prospects to take another look at.
And ugh, JD just missing it. If it was at Minute Maid Park that one would have landed in the Crawford Boxes.

Morton looks very hittable this game. He's getting pitches over the plate but it doesn't look like he is locating well.

    Shiftf**d.

Luckily so does Sabathia. Would be nice to get to him bigly before he decides to get it together.
