I didn’t catch the end. What would Osuna be retaliating for by throwing at a batter?

The pitchers, even before Osuna, gave up more than enough hits that they probably were lucky to have only given up 5 runs at that point.

As far as Osuna goes... retaliation is great if you're confident your stuff is enough to get the other 2 outs. He made a huge mistake on the HR pitch. He's not missing enough bats. Late inning guys, moreso than anybody else, need to miss bats.

You're not going to win them all. It's just a loss, even if it stings a bit---Its just one loss.

    Learn from it.

    On to the next one.

I only saw the first few innings of the game. I suspected the Orioles would not be terribly happy about last night, and a day game after a night game is never easy. No game is a lock. Looked like they were just free swinging early on Justin which will throw you off as a pitcher if you're used to exploiting a certain amount of caution from batters. Not that he was looking terribly sharp either.

Didn't see Osuna blow it, so I can't really comment directly on it. Given his struggles recently compared to earlier in the season, I wonder if he's just overcomplicating things, and it's catching up to him. Kind of like McHugh. Four pitches and 3-4 types of windup, but location isn't as great as it could be. Location is a much higher priority than variety considering how any mistake, especially nowadays, is a potential home run. I can see why the power closer has been such a mainstay for so long. Some jobs are easier with a big ole machete vs a Swiss Army knife unless you're REALLY good with that Swiss Army knife.

I didn't see the ptich Osuna hit the batter until I re-watched it, If Osuna did intentionally hit that batter in the 9th then I like me some Osuna. Those dirty birds knew what they were doing. We should of hit Chris Davis instead, watched their home crowd cheer Davis getting plunked.

And yet he challenges a call last night when we were up 20 that had no bearing on the game, Which btw he lost.
