Welcome to the ignore list! Jk, I have never put anyone on the ignore list but have made it on a couple, I know right?
Really hope the hits in the allstar game and GS tonight are a sign Springer has turned the corner from this slump. First HR since June 28th?
I know that's how the game goes but during his slump he was probably robbed of 3 or 4 hrs. Not to mention all the up the middle singles taken away by the shift. He'll be fine
Springer has "turned the corner" And being streaky, he likely turns it again then again before the playoffs begin.
To the puigs around the league, this is how you do it. gently. you can't be sticking your tongue out like a lizzzard.
Honestly that's how I feel. Give him steady ABs the rest of the season and if he's still struggling just stick him on the bench when it counts. Alot of people dont realize that baseball is different from most sports in that it varies wildly as far as player progression. Now if its 2 or 3 years from now and it's the same thing then that may be a problem but for now just let him get his hacks.
Hope the bats are awake today and Lance brings his A-game, Heaney's good when he's healthy and he shut us down earlier this year. Also, that is not an ideal defensive lineup for the good guys.
He certainly has better control than he did last start. Fedo once again struggling to catch him. Eschenfelder is not close to good in the booth, I'm about to switch to the Angels feed. Stros need to find a better backup pbp guy for next year.
