    Michael Moore says Trump wrote the anonymous op-ed

    " 'Trump wrote it. Trump or one of his minions wrote it,' he said. 'He's the master distractor. He's the king of the misdirect. If we have learned anything by now, it's that he does things to get people to turn away. Let me give you the line in there that is most identifiable that he wants the public to believe. It's the line that says, 'Don't worry, adults are in the room.' That's the idea, to get us to calm down and look away from what he's really doing.' "​

    Moore is correct that Trump is the master of distraction (and I don't know why the media is so desperate to let him do it; I'm sure they know what he's doing). But he's too much of a mega-narcissist to allow that op-ed to go through. It's too specific and personal and makes him out as an incompetent man-baby. No way he would have said, "OK, that works, leak it to the press."

    So, anonymous senior official has a book coming out and will remain anonymous. Wouldn't putting his or her name on it make this a more credible publishing rather than something Trump supporters can easily dismiss?

    why would they sell books... instead of doing just that... it is almost like there is motive there but I just can't put my finger on it...

    Coward and something Trump will use to go to his base and say see deep state. Wtf is the point of book when you don’t have the courage to your name to what you write. How do we know this is true. This is utter crap and I question the timing.

    I know this a good conspiracy theory but the NYTimes knows who the author is. If it were Trump or a Trump lackey they should be excoriated for it.
